A residential facility offering a supportive, safe environment for people 16 years and over who wish to detoxify from alcohol and other drugs and who have no concurrent medical problems.

This service is provided by the Hunter/New England Area Health Service.

The Unit predominately services clients from the Greater Western Area Health Service and offers a Residential Detoxification Service. The detoxification service is primarily for illicit drugs but other drugs are catered for, including methadone.
