The US House of Representatives has reformed a law that subjected tens of thousands of black people
to long prison terms for crack cocaine convictions while giving far more
lenient treatment to mainly white people caught with the powder form of the
drug.

Internet sellers of illicit substances and so-called "legal highs" are
undercutting street drug dealers by mailing their wares direct to
homes, circumventing drug controls.
